MSN Programs Offered in Colorado

As you know, an RN to MSN program is designed for those registered nurses with a diploma or community college nursing degree where as a Master’s in Science Nursing Degree (MSN) program requires that you have already completed a BSN or RN to BSN program.

Master’s degree programs expand on the undergraduate nursing education, preparing nurses for more complex roles in specialty nursing. These roles require a nurse to possess leadership skills, independence and to be significantly more accountable than nurses with undergraduate education.

Accredited Online MSN and RN to MSN Programs

The Colorado State Board of Nursing does not regulate RN to MSN or MSN programs, so making sure that the program you choose is nationally accredited by a reputable accrediting agency such as the CCNE or NLNAC is extremely important for later licensing, national certification and jobs.

We have taken care to list nationally or regionally accredited schools offering MSN and RN to MSN programs in Colorado. The online programs listed are nationally accredited by the CCNE or NLNAC and offer the exact same curriculum as their respective campus based programs.
