LPN to BSN Programs in Arizona

The LPN to BSN program offered at the University of Phoenix, Phoenix Campus is the only LPN to BSN program listed on the Arizona State Board of Nursing approved program list. As health care becomes more complex the need for BSN educated nurses will increase. There are a number of studies that have demonstrated that the educational level of a registered nursing staff has a significant impact on patient mortality, morbidity and safety and for this reason many hospitals in Arizona as well as throughout the country are making moves toward hiring only those RNs with baccalaureate level education.

A new option for earning an LPN to BSN is to complete the program online. Indiana State University is considered an inovator in the field of online nursing programs and has developed an LPN to BSN program designed to provide more flexibility for LPNs looking to advance their career into registered nursing.
