Becoming a Registered Nurse (RN) in Hawaii requires attending a Hawaii Board of Nursing approved Associate’s or baccalaureate nursing program. Upon successful completion of the nursing program, graduates will be eligible to sit for the NCLEX licensure by examination.

Associate’s degree programs are two years in length and are offered through community colleges in Hawaii.
