Associate's Nursing Degree Indiana

To become a registered nurse in Indiana you will need to successfully complete an associate's degree nursing program or a BSN program accredited by the Indiana State Board of Nursing. Graduates will then need to submit a certificate of completion along with the Indiana licensure application to the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency. You will also need to apply to take the NCLEX-RN national licensure examination and successfully pass the exam.

The Indiana Department of Workforce Development Wage Information Data shows that registered nurses in Indiana make a median annual salary of $54,400, which works out to a median hourly of $26.15. These salary numbers will vary by education, experience, location, facility specialty and other factors.
