Colorado RN to BSN Programs
The Colorado Board of Nursing does not regulate any RN to BSN programs, so we have compiled nationally accredited/approved programs that are based in Colorado as well as online. These programs are accredited by the CCNE or NLN or both.
An RN to BSN is designed to prepare currently licensed registered nurses for more advanced roles in the nursing field with a greater competency in theoretical and empirical knowledge than associate or diploma educated nurses possess. Graduates of RN to BSN programs are prepared for leadership roles in organizations throughout Colorado or to pursue graduate level education.
RN to BSN Graduates can often expect to make significantly more than they were prior to earning their BSN. The Bureau of Labor Statistics projects job growth to be positive for BSN educated nurses through the next decade. This is an exciting time to advance your education as health care becomes more complex and opportunities for registered nurses with advanced education is so great.
