Diploma, ADN and BSN Programs in Connecticut

Becoming a registered nurse (RN) in Connecticut requires successful completion of a Connecticut Board of Examiners for Nursing approved diploma, associate’s degree in nursing or baccalaureate degree in nursing program. To be approved by the Connecticut Board of Examiners for Nursing, a nursing program must meet the specific requirements set by the Board and documented in the Regulations of Connecticut State Agencies. Approved nursing programs can be found below.

Upon completion of an approved nursing program, graduates must then take and successfully pass the the NCLEX-RN to be considered for licensure in the state of Connecticut.
