Medical Assisting is the fastest growing career in the health care industry. The American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) provides simple steps to become a certified medical assistant.

1) Graduate from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) accredited Medical Assistant school, such as Kaplan University's online Medical Assistant program.
