Nurse Practitioners in Montana are referred to as NP's and they fall under the umbrella of Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRN's). Other APRN specialties include nurse anesthetists, nurse midwifes, and clinical nurse specialists.

 

The Montana State Board of Nursing has several requirements that must be met in order to become a nurse practitioner (NP). First of all, you must be a licensed RN in the state of Montana.
