RN to BSN Completion Programs in CT

Earning a BSN has become an essential step for registered nurses desiring to move up the career ladder into management, advanced practice, education or graduate school. The goal of RN to BSN programs is to build on the student’s prior experience and education to create a more well-rounded nurse, a nurse that understands the issues that are impacting health care and patient care and how to more effectively provide care in this environment.

The BSN has become the minimum educational requirement for professional nursing recognized by the American Nurses Association and the American Association of Colleges for Nursing. In fact, many magnet hospitals and learning institution hospitals require or prefer hiring of baccalaureate prepared registered nurses.
